It is a whole lot easier to strive towards and attain balance than it is to shoot for perfection. Reminding myself of this keeps me in check when parenting and living a Christ-centered life. Impressing this upon our children brings a needed feeling of calmness and peace in difficult situations. I am out of balance when I don't spend adequate time with God, but the great part is that He is never out of reach. I will call upon the LORD and teach my children to do the same.

Cast Off!

I am going to take a leap of faith and start a blog. I am passionate about building a Discipling Culture in our homes, neighborhoods, church communities, cities, and nations. I want a place to share with fellow parents and members of the Streams of Life Church Family… and beyond. It seems unfathomable NOT to use the power of the internet and social media living in this day and age. So here goes: “I’m Divin’ In”!
